For the winter holidays Art 14 Gallery has prepared a special exhibition that contains all familiar and awaited New Year’s attributes, as well as an unusual, unexpected and surprising exhibition of two well-known artists, Alla Zhmaylo (an accessories designer) and Tatiana Kush. Having been created as the separate projects, both collections are absolutely different.
They have been associated only thanks to the common theme and the Curatorial staging by Art 14 Gallery staff. Thus, the exhibition is full of contrasts of reality and fiction, fairy tales and life that are directed by the free movement of creative energy and joy to the viewers’ attention.
Tatiana Kush’s favorite quote can serve not just as a universal commentary on her creative work, but also as an epigraph for the entire holiday project by Art 14 Gallery: «fiction and reality are the foundation of my creative work. My fiction is more realistic than the truth. I have no idea where the reality ends and the fiction begins. That is surprising to be much more interesting than the reality itself.”
